Camp Specialist - HP

The camp specialist is responsible for creating a safe environment and developing an appropriate curriculum for their assigned specialty area under the direction of the summer camp director. Essential functions include assisting in assuring camper safety and health, planning and implementing age-Appropriate lesson plans daily, and maintaining equipment.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess three years of previous experience in camping, recreation, teaching, or childcare, along with certification in their specific specialty area if necessary. Required qualifications also include cpr/Aed and first aid certification (Or obtaining it within 90 days), strong human relations skills, and commitment to the ymca's mission and values.
