Physical Education Teacher - IHSCA

The physical education teacher is responsible for designing and delivering standards-Aligned instruction in physical education, health, and driver's education, focusing on promoting wellness, fitness, and safe decision-Making for high school students. Key duties include differentiating instruction, implementing ieps/504 plans, supporting the mtss framework, and maintaining positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Candidates must possess a valid illinois professional educator license (Pel) with endorsements in physical education and health, with a driver's education endorsement preferred or obtainable. Demonstrated experience teaching high school students and knowledge of culturally responsive practices, mtss, and inclusive educational strategies are required.
