School Counselor - IHSCA

The school counselor provides critical services to students across academic, college & career, and social-Emotional domains, consulting with stakeholders on prevention and intervention strategies to enhance student outcomes. Essential duties include conducting comprehensive guidance evaluations, monitoring graduation progress, assisting with state testing, providing mental health interventions, and supporting the development of ieps and 504 plans.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in school or educational counseling and hold a pel il type 73 certificate, with a type 75 certificate being preferred. A minimum of three years' experience in a high school educational setting and bilingual proficiency in spanish are preferred qualifications.
