Residential Counselor - Weekend Day Shift

The residential counselor is responsible for supervising emotionally/Behaviorally-Disordered deaf and hard of hearing children and youth during and outside of school hours, including meals. Duties also involve planning activities to promote personal and social growth and assisting students with personal hygiene and mobility.

Candidates must be able to work collaboratively, anticipate issues, and effectively de-Escalate behavior, demonstrating good judgment and dependability. Essential physical requirements include the ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and participation in physical/Psychological management training workshops.
