Youth Worker (Afterschool)

Position Overview

• The Youth Worker will work as part of the P.R.I.M.E.
• Leaders Afterschool Program leading fun, skill-based activities in areas like dance, arts, sports, and more.
• Will also provide homework help and collaborate with Group Leaders to support participant growth.
• Must have a strong interest in working with youth.
• The Youth Worker will also help students prepare for projects geared toward community issues as well as special presentations related to monthly themes.

Position Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required; some college a plus.
• Relevant work experience with children.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast- paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfort working in team settings and with diverse individuals.
• Possess organizational, verbal, written and communication skills.
• Must be computer literate.
