Speech Language Pathologist

The speech-Language pathologist provides assessment, consultation, and intervention services for students with communication disorders impacting educational performance, collaborating with staff and families to implement evidence-Based interventions. Essential duties include conducting evaluations, providing direct therapy aligned with ieps, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations like idea.

Required qualifications include a master's degree in speech-Language pathology and a valid louisiana speech-Language pathology license (L-Slp) or eligibility, along with the ccc-Slp, cf-Slp, or slpa status. Candidates must possess knowledge of idea, experience with the iep process, and strong communication and organizational skills.
