Core responsibilities
The primary role of the counselor is to provide services to individuals with a primary diagnosis of an opiate use disorder utilizing the 12 core functions of substance use disorder counseling. This includes conducting clinical assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma or ged is required, along with cadc or ladc certification. Good communication skills and the ability to adapt in a busy environment are essential.
