Academic Advisor

The academic advisor is primarily responsible for delivering comprehensive academic advising to all education majors, including monitoring student progress toward degree completion and supporting first-Year student retention initiatives. This role also contributes to campus orientation programs, assists with data reporting on admissions and enrollment trends, and collaborates on recruitment efforts.

A minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree and two years of experience providing counseling or advising services, though additional relevant work experience can substitute for education year-For-Year up to four years. Candidates must possess knowledge of best practices in organization and administration, public relations, and marketing techniques, along with strong communication and policy application skills.
