Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

The speech language pathologist provides diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services to students with communication disorders and serves as a consultant to staff regarding service implementation. Responsibilities include assisting teachers with language curriculum, monitoring classroom programs, attending iep meetings, and providing direct individual or group therapy.

Candidates must hold a valid speech-Language pathologist license issued by the virginia board of audiology and speech-Language pathology. Experience working in a special needs school environment is preferred.
