Market context

Virginia counseling roles need licensure

Licensed Counselor roles in Virginia are typically driven by steady demand in schools, clinics, and community mental health settings, especially for candidates who can meet licensure requirements. These positions are competitive because employers often look for a Clinical Master’s degree and an active credential such as LCP, LCSW, LMSW, LGPC, or LPC, along with readiness to support student or client needs. Before applying, confirm your license status and review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here, which condense the original posting to save research time.
