Student Accessibility Coordinator

The student accessibility coordinator supports and coordinates tasks for students with disabilities, primarily by determining and ensuring compliance with federally mandated accommodations through an interactive request process. This role involves working collaboratively to oversee accommodations like exam proctoring and note-Taking assistance, while serving as a resource for students, families, faculty, and staff regarding equal access to academics and campus life.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field such as special education or psychology is required, with a master's degree highly preferred, alongside 1-3 years of direct experience supporting students with disabilities in higher education or a clinical setting. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and knowledge of relevant legislation including the ada, section 504/508, and ferpa.
