Core responsibilities
This role involves serving as a nurse anesthesia faculty specialist, contributing to course instruction, simulation, assessment, curriculum development, program operations, and ensuring accreditation compliance for the austin campus program. The specialist will develop, coordinate, and deliver instructional content for residents across didactic, simulation, and clinical portions of the program.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in nursing or a related field (Doctoral degree preferred) and current certification as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (Crna). A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a crna is required, along with current, unencumbered rn and aprn licenses in connecticut and texas (Or eligibility for licensure).
