The Intervention Coach provides targeted academic, social, and emotional support to students through one-on-one and small-group interventions based on data analysis. This role involves serving as a mentor, monitoring engagement, and collaborating closely with educators and support staff to ensure students stay on track for graduation.
A Florida educator’s license with a secondary English or Reading endorsement is required, along with 2+ years of experience working with at-risk youth or in academic intervention. A Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
The Middle School English Intervention Teacher plays a vital role in supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally to help them stay engaged and on track to graduate. This role works closely with Graduation Candidates (GCs), educators, and support staff to provide targeted interventions, personalized learning strategies, and holistic support.
This is position funded through Title I funds. Employment is contingent upon the yearly categorical a location from Marion County School District. An 6-12 English and/or Reading endorsement is Required for this position.
We have part-time and full-time options available.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred.
Florida educator’s license with a secondary English or Reading endorsement required.
2+ years working with at-risk youth, academic intervention, or student support services.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a focus on equity and inclusivity.
A deep commitment to supporting students who have disengaged from traditional school settings.
