Direct Support Professional - Day Support

Responsibilities include maintaining sight and sound supervision of clients while implementing their annual plan of support, goals, and objectives, and providing education to enhance social, community, and life skills. Staff must also administer medications, manage behaviors using positive support techniques, and assist clients with personal care and hygiene.

Candidates must have a high school diploma (Bs/Ba degree in a related field is preferred) and experience working with the relevant population, demonstrating the ability to work effectively under stress and in a team environment. A valid virginia driver's license with an excellent driving record is mandatory.
