Counselor I

The counselor i provides direct supervision and support to students, implementing individualized education and behavior plans under team guidance, and assisting with daily activities including personal care. Key duties also involve documenting student progress and utilizing approved behavior management techniques to support students in crisis.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be a minimum of 21 years old, holding a valid virginia driver's license with a clean record. Experience working with special needs students is preferred, and a bachelor's degree in a related field is considered a plus.
