Day Program Paraprofessional

The role involves assisting adults with intellectual/Developmental disabilities (I/Dd) in a day program by implementing individual plans focused on promoting independence through instruction in daily living, socialization, leisure, and vocational skills. Responsibilities also include thorough documentation of services provided, adhering to all agency policies, and maintaining required training.

Candidates must be at least 25 years old and possess a high school diploma or ged, along with the ability to read, write, and follow directions. Essential requirements include meeting sbi and dmv criteria, holding a valid driver's license with three years of experience, having acceptable liability insurance, and having no substantiated findings on the nc health care abuse registry.
