Day Program Paraprofessional

The primary role involves assisting adults with i/Dd disabilities in a day program by implementing individualized plans focused on promoting independence through instruction and modeling of daily living, socialization, leisure, educational, and vocational skills. Responsibilities also include thorough documentation of services provided, adherence to agency policies, and maintaining required training.

Candidates must be at least 25 years old and possess a high school diploma or ged, along with the ability to read, write, and follow directions. Essential requirements include meeting sbi and dmv criteria, holding a valid driver's license with three years of experience, having acceptable liability insurance, and passing background checks regarding abuse registries.
