The Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for developing and administering a comprehensive sports medicine program covering injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for all intercollegiate sports. This includes providing direct athletic training services at practices and competitions, managing the training room, and overseeing documentation and staff coordination.
A Bachelor's degree is required, though a Master's degree is preferred, and previous experience in Higher Education athletics is highly desirable. Candidates must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, travel with teams, and maintain necessary athletic training licensure and credentials.

The Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for developing and administering a comprehensive sports medicine program for all of Florida National University’s intercollegiate sports. The Athletic Trainer will also perform professional and administrative services essential for the successful implementation and development of the program, and they will also perform sports specific trainings. Florida National University is a small NAIA institution that serves ~300-330 student-athletes annually across 11 sports programs and does NOT sponsor football.
Full time position.
