The School Counselor provides mental health support, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention for students in grades K-8. They collaborate with teachers, parents, and administration to resolve behavioral and academic issues while implementing social-emotional learning programs.
A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field is preferred, along with at least five years of experience in the field. Candidates must be aligned with the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church and complete Diocese of Orlando safety certifications.
Description In collaboration with the school’s teachers and administration, the School Counselor advises and counsels students and provides educational services. The Counselor also provides crisis intervention services as needed.
