Core responsibilities
The speech language pathologist will make outpatient visits to clients in designated senior living communities, performing evaluations and providing therapeutic interventions for speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties. They will develop and continually assess treatment plans while educating patients and their families on necessary rehabilitative care.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a current license as a speech language pathologist in vermont and possess a certificate of clinical competence from the american speech and hearing association or equivalent educational requirements. Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records are preferred.
