Alcohol and Drug Counselor

The trainee employee assistance program (Teap) drug and alcohol coordinator conducts substance-Use assessments, develops individualized intervention plans, and leads prevention efforts through educational activities and group sessions. This role involves close collaboration with center staff and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support services for students.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field and obtain specific addiction counselor certification required for substance-Abuse counseling in puerto rico. Essential requirements include fluency in both english and spanish, a clean driving record with a valid category 4 license, and a current health certificate.
