Alcohol and Drug Counselor

The coordinator conducts substance-Use assessments for students, develops individualized intervention plans, and leads prevention efforts through educational activities and group sessions. This role involves close collaboration with center staff and community agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, public health, or related behavioral-Science fields is required, along with specific addiction counselor certification mandated by puerto rico regulations. Candidates must also possess a clean driving record, a valid puerto rico category 4 driver's license, a current health certificate, and demonstrate fluency in both english and spanish.
