Certified Surgical Tech (CST) Intern

The cst intern assists the physician as a scrub person under direct supervision, focusing primarily on learning opportunities within the surgical technologist internship program. Responsibilities include providing assistance to the surgical team by passing instrumentation, equipment, and supplies while maintaining aseptic integrity during procedures.

Applicants must be actively enrolled in a certified surgical technologist program and have successfully completed the first year of the program, in addition to holding a high school diploma or equivalency. A current infant-Adult basic life support certification from the american heart association or american red cross is also required.
