Fishing & Paddle Boarding Specialist-CATL

The specialist is responsible for creating a safe environment and developing an appropriate curriculum for the assigned specialty area of fishing and paddle boarding under the camp director's guidance. Essential functions include planning and implementing age-Appropriate lessons, maintaining equipment, ensuring camper safety according to state and aca requirements, and actively participating with children.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old or a high school graduate, with preferred previous experience in camping, recreation, teaching, childcare, or physical education. Required knowledge includes fishing and paddle boarding techniques and safety, along with the ability to teach these basics to children aged 8-14, and must obtain cpr/Aed and first aid certification within 90 days.
