DEDICATED AIDE (Autism - 12 Months)

Dedicated aides manage assigned students' behavior and ensure safety by implementing behavior modification systems, school rules, and policies, while supporting academic assignments and behavioral goals across all classes and activities. They are responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation of student activities and working under the direction of the classroom teacher to implement lesson plans and individualized education program (Iep) goals.

A high school diploma, ged, or equivalent is required, though related coursework, an associate's, or bachelor's degree is preferred. Six months of formal training or experience in special education, a psychiatric setting, or a similar setting for children and adolescents is preferred, and bilingual abilities are a plus.
