  • Expected pay for this position is $39.13 - $46.03/hour.
  • Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
  • This is a Salaried position.
  • $30,000 Education Stipend! *Only eligible to New Graduates graduating in May 2026/December 2026.
  • Multiple Sign On Bonus Options! $5,000 -1 year work commitment $10,000 - 2 year work commitment $20,000 - 3 year work commitment (Internal Mission Partners not eligible) OSF Rehabilitation offers an environment for clinicians that is supportive in professional development and offers paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement for further education, and 401k with $1 per $1 match on first 5% of salary!
  • In addition, OSF Healthcare qualifies for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program OSF will invest in you on day 1!
  • Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of Vacation and Holiday time that will be available for use beginning day 1.

Overview

OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth is a multidisciplinary team with a combined work experience of over 100 year working together to provide excellent rehabilitation in a small-town setting. Our critical access hospital setting allows clinicians to practice inpatient and outpatient therapy skills, while still able to pursue specialty training of interest. OSF Rehabilitation has a diverse mentorship program available for therapists at any site throughout our Ministry team of over 450 therapists.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education

  • Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy *Those licensed after 2016 must have a Doctoral degree. Those who were licensed prior to 2016 are exempt from this requirement as grandfathered under prior IDFPR or MBPT requirement for licensure (which allowed bachelor’s/master’s degree; the normal industry requirement prior to 2016).

  • Licenses/Certifications: ​ Respective state license in Physical Therapy or has graduated successfully from a professional program, is in receipt of Authorization to Test Letter, is scheduled to test within 60 days of eligibility, and has not failed the licensure exam. After passing licensure exam, state license must be verifiable within one year of hire. CPR certification within 90 days of hire Valid state driver’s license, as verified through the respective state Department of Motor vehicles driving record abstract.
  • Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
  • Preferred Qualifications

    ​Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems.
