OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth is a multidisciplinary team with a combined work experience of over 100 year working together to provide excellent rehabilitation in a small-town setting. Our critical access hospital setting allows clinicians to practice inpatient and outpatient therapy skills, while still able to pursue specialty training of interest. OSF Rehabilitation has a diverse mentorship program available for therapists at any site throughout our Ministry team of over 450 therapists.
The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.
Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills work well with others and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information. Analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems.
