Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

The certified occupational therapy assistant will implement individualized treatment plans developed by the occupational therapist, conduct screenings, and monitor patient progress, reporting changes to the supervisor. Responsibilities also include preparing therapy materials, assisting with administrative tasks like scheduling and billing, and communicating effectively with clients and professionals.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with assistant licensure and appropriate certifications, and must pass state and federal background checks. Required skills include the ability to manage workload, travel to client homes, build rapport, and possess strong communication and basic computer skills.
