• Range: $25.00 - $27.00 HourlyInstructor - Sports-Multiple (Garfield Community Center) If you have a knowledge and understanding of fundamentals of various types of sports and passion and experience of teaching kids, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has a role for you as a Sports Instructor at Garfield Community Center. This is a part-time year-round role staring from Apr 2026. Associated Recreation Council in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation is hiring Sports Instructor. The Sports Instructor at Garfield Community Center will lead a group of youth between the ages of 5-8 primarily in Soccer, Basketball, kickball, and Racket Sports and introduce participants to a variety of sports and athletic activities in a fun and supportive environment. The program focuses on helping youth build fundamental athletic skills while exploring different sports, developing teamwork, and staying active.

• Instructor duties and responsibilities: Introduce participants to a variety of sports and athletic activities in a fun and supportive environment. The program focuses on helping youth build fundamental athletic skills while exploring different sports, developing teamwork, and staying active. Enhance participants' skills in soccer, basketball, racket sports as they learn the fundamentals and play the games. Emphasize mental attitude, the importance of teamwork, how to play as a team, and the benefits of playing sports.
