Assistant Professor - Nursing

Faculty members are responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the mission and objectives of the college of nursing, including designing, teaching, and revising the undergraduate curriculum. They must also participate in academic advisement, counseling students, and providing opportunities for student evaluation of program effectiveness.

Minimum qualifications require a doctorate in nursing or an msn with a doctoral degree in a related field, though significant progress toward a doctorate may be considered. Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted virginia rn license and possess at least two years of direct client care experience as a registered nurse.
