Instructor, Special Purpose - Nursing

The faculty member will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the mission, vision, and objectives of the college of nursing, alongside designing, teaching, and revising the curriculum. Key duties also include developing student progression policies, participating in academic advisement, and documenting program review actions.

Required qualifications include a bachelor of science in nursing with a master's degree, and a current, unrestricted registered nurse license in virginia, along with at least two years of direct client care experience as an rn. Preferred qualifications involve experience and desire to teach in the prelicensure program and prior teaching experience.
