Certified Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Teacher

The upk teacher is responsible for implementing the new york state and individual district upk curriculum to prepare 3-4 year old children for kindergarten. This includes ensuring classroom safety, creating developmentally appropriate programs, maintaining a clean environment, and partnering with families.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, along with new york state birth - 2 certification or nursery teacher certification. Strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask and remain organized, and meeting state criteria for childcare employment are also mandatory.
