As the Mental Health Specialist you will be responsible for sharing the underlying concepts necessary for recovery: hope, personal responsibility, education, self-advocacy, and support
This position will function both on-site in our Northeast Philadelphia office and within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with people who have experienced psychiatric symptoms to assist them discover their strengths
- Empower people to feel the way they want to. Help make their lives the way they want them to be. Help them to achieve life goals
- Provide activities, education, skill teaching, and opportunities on-site and in the community
- Provide linkage to resources in the community to assist individuals
- Provide outreach to individuals in crisis or in need of extra support
- Assist in the evaluation and development of methods, curriculum, and materials.
