Job description

Adjunct Clinical Instructor for Practical Nursing Program. The role includes overseeing PN students during clinical rotations and/or leading practical skills lab assignments on campus.

  • Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities
  • Engage students with active learning in the lab or clinical setting.
  • Assist and supervise students with patient assessment, administration of medications and patient care procedures.
  • Provide clinical instruction at long term care, sub-acute and acute clinical sites.
  • Create a clinical environment which encourages the student’s academic growth and professional development.
  • Engage in the evaluation processes of the Practical Nursing Program to evaluate students.
  • Submit final grades and other program related materials in a timely manner.
  • Engage on ongoing continuing education related to teaching responsibilities and clinical nursing practice.
