Job responsibilities

Subjects to be taught: Math & ELA
Grades: K-12th grade
Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Qualifications

MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
In-person availability is subject to the following regions: Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, and El Sereno.
Scheduled hours: Schedules vary accross sites. Must be available Mondays through Fridays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM PST.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a completed 4-year degree and must be available to work Mondays through Fridays between 12 PM and 5:30 PM PST in specific East Los Angeles regions. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired, and all hires must pass a background check.
