Job responsibilities

  • Subjects to be taught: Math & ELA
  • Grades: K-12th grade
  • Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
  • Tutors will have access to information about class assignments
  • Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies
  • Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff
  • Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students

Qualifications

  • MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
  • In-person availability is subject to the following regions: Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, and El Sereno.
  • Scheduled hours: Schedules vary accross sites. Must be available Mondays through Fridays from 8 AM to 4:30 PM PST.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a completed 4-year degree and must be available to work Mondays through Fridays between 12 PM and 5:30 PM PST in specific East Los Angeles regions. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired, and all hires must pass a background check.
