This position is responsible for creating an environment that facilitates spiritual growth and renewal, primarily by directly helping K-8th grade students develop spiritually through creating and facilitating discipleship groups. The specialist also works with staff to encourage a growing Christian life and oversees the implementation of the spiritual development curriculum by Grade Team Leaders.
Candidates must have a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ, agree with the organization's doctrinal statement, and demonstrate a lifestyle consistent with Biblical principles. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of related experience are required, along with experience leading Bible Studies and using Google Suite products.

By The Hand is a not for profit, religious organization. Individuals employed by By The Hand are working in ministerial roles and perform all or some of the following responsibilities: sharing the Gospel, teaching chapel, leading Bible studies, discipling students and modeling behavior that is consistent with Christ’s teaching.
Rate of Pay: $20 per hour
Overview of Position
This job operates in a professional ofce environment. This role routinely uses standard ofce equipment such as computers, phones, photocopies, ling cabinets and fax machines. This job is not a virtual job, but it requires in-person attendance as agreed upon by your immediate supervisor.
The employee is regularly required to speak and listen. This role may require you to move equipment between rooms and/or locations and lift up to 50 pounds. The individual is also required to travel to other organizational sites to meet with staff.
