Requirements
- for Lead Teacher:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 45 hours of Child Growth and Development
- 45 hours in Preschool Curriculum (required if Lead for 2-5 year olds)
- 45 hours Infant- Toddler Certificate (required if Lead for 6 wk-24 month olds)
- Minimum of one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of various stages of social, emotional and intellectual development
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach carry, lift 50 lbs.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field (preferred)
