Job description
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Trauma-Informed Residential Program Catholic Charities of Lansing Are you a BCBA who wants to move beyond compliance-driven ABA and into meaningful, relationship-centered work? At Catholic Charities of Lansing, our Children’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Program serves youth ages 6–17 with complex emotional and behavioral needs. We are seeking a BCBA who understands behavior through the lens of trauma, emotional regulation, and environment not just reinforcement systems. This is a position offering strong work-life balance and the opportunity to practice behavior analysis in a collaborative, therapeutic setting alongside therapists, and psychiatry. This position is a 30-hour per week role with an annual salary of $75,000. What You’ll Do
- Conduct functional behavior assessments using observation and clinical context
- Develop individualized, trauma-informed behavior support plans
- Collaborate with therapists to reinforce DBT skills and treatment goals
- Partner with psychiatry and nursing on behavioral and health considerations
- Coach and support direct care staff in real-time environments
- Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning
- Ensure documentation meets PRTF and licensing standards

- Physical intervention is rare and used only to maintain immediate safety. What We’re Looking For Required:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
- Experience with children or adolescents with complex needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred
- Residential, inpatient, or high-acuity experience
- Familiarity with DBT, trauma-informed care, or relational models
- Experience coaching staff in applied settings
