- Mary Delaware School Middle School Humanities Teacher (Grades 5/6 or 7/8) Full-Time Catholic Preferred but Not Required St.
- Mary School, located at 66 E William Street in Delaware, is seeking a 5/6 or 7/8 Middle School Humanities Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
- The Humanities Teacher is responsible for teaching literature, history, and writing through a classical lens, helping students develop strong reading, analytical, and expressive skills while cultivating a love for truth, beauty, and goodness.
- The ideal candidate has a strong background in literature and history, a passion for classical education, and the ability to engage students through discussion, narration, and primary texts.
- Experience with or interest in classical pedagogy and Catholic education is preferred.
Requirements
- Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
- Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
