Community Education - Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Instructor

The certified nurse aide (Cna) instructor is responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and evaluating classroom, lab, and clinical instruction for cna candidates according to michigan department of licensing and regulatory affairs (Lara) regulations. This involves facilitating learning to ensure students successfully complete the training program and achieve certification in this non-Credit course offering.

Candidates must possess an associate degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred) and hold an active, unrestricted registered nurse license in michigan, along with two years of clinical nursing experience, including one year in michigan long-Term care nursing. Required certifications include completion of an accredited cna training program, current bls/Cpr, and michigan train-The-Trainer certification.
