This position oversees all aspects of the club wrestling program training, including facilitating practice plans, teaching strategy, and managing team dynamics in collaboration with team captains. The coach is also responsible for providing skill development for college students of various skill levels and attending all team practices and competitions.
Candidates must have previous experience in coaching or participating in the specific sport and demonstrate flexible availability and a high level of responsibility. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with obtaining First-Aid, CPR, AED, and Blood Borne Pathogen certifications within 90 days of starting.
This position will oversee all aspects of the club wrestling program training. The coaches will work with team captains to facilitate practice plans and teach drills. They will teach strategy, attend every practice, or competition, and the coach will help manage team dynamics. The coach will also work with the club’s executive board, who oversee all scheduling and fundraising efforts.
This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Club Sports and indirectly to all Campus Recreation professional staff members and sport club officers. The Club Wrestling team falls under Campus Recreation and is not associated with Athletics.

This is a part-time, temporary, non-unit, non-benefited position.
