General Summary of Position

The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach one course on Chinese language level 1. The successful candidate will be expected to start classes on September 1st , 2026.

  • Under the guidance of the Chair of the department, the ideal candidate will enhance the student's learning experience by integrating a variety of methods and strategies into the teaching process and maintaining a student learning-centered environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D degree in a related field in hand
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Chinese and English required.
  • Teaching experience at the college level in lower-division courses for more than 10 years.
