The instructor will teach a level 1 Chinese language course and integrate various teaching methods to enhance student learning. They are expected to maintain a student-centered environment and attend a mandatory orientation in August.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a related field and possess native or near-native proficiency in both Chinese and English. A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in lower-division college courses is required.
The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach one course on Chinese language level 1. The successful candidate will be expected to start classes on September 1st , 2026.
