Job description

  • Primary commitment will be to make radiographs as prescribed for the GSDM patients including assistance of chairs where treatment planning is being conducted.
  • Ensure completion of all radiographic procedures within the assigned appointment time.
  • Assist in uploading the radiographs that are obtained as outside records.
  • Other duties include demonstration, instruction and supervision of DMD and AS students during preclinical mannequin radiology training as well as during clinical Radiology rotation while exposing intraoral and extraoral radiographs on patients.
  • Maintain Radiology rotation documents for students.
  • Ensure inventory of supplies is sufficient to sustain the activities of the Division of Oral Radiology.
  • Maintain quality assurance and infection control in the radiology clinic.
  • Organize and present radiology content and clinical instruction during the BU Dental Assisting Training Program radiology certification and state certification programs.
  • Confirm that all images in the Radiology Clinic are approved on a daily basis.
  • Assist students in their search for CDCA/WREB patients.
