Teacher, Middle School

The middle school teacher is responsible for designing and implementing programs of study, including creative lesson plans and activities, to ensure students meet or exceed academic standards. This role also involves managing the classroom environment, evaluating student growth, and actively engaging with families through home visits and conferences.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in middle childhood education and hold a middle childhood licensure (4th–9th) or ohio resident educator license, with experience in urban settings being preferred. Essential abilities include strong communication, computer literacy, the capacity to maintain high expectations, and a commitment to the school's 'no excuses' culture.
