Core responsibilities
Youth care specialists provide out-Of-Home care for boys and girls dealing with complex trauma, mental health needs, and severe behavioral concerns, working in tandem with agencies to transition youth back to permanent living situations. Staff will work various shifts, including second and third shifts, as well as seasonal day shifts.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma or ged is required, though an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field like psychology or social work is preferred. Applicants must have 1+ years of experience working with high-Risk youth, corrections, or mental health populations, although this is preferred but not required for summer hires.
