Therapeutic Foster Care Mentor

The tfc mentor provides individualized, one-On-One mentoring sessions to youth in therapeutic foster care using a trauma-Informed, strength-Based approach to address social, communication, and daily living needs. Responsibilities include coaching youth, advocating with external agencies like dcfs and schools, and collaborating closely with the tfc team to support transition planning and skill development.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged equivalent, along with reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and required auto insurance coverage. Preferred experience includes work in residential, social services, or mentoring settings, and the role demands flexibility, evening/Weekend work, and the ability to handle challenging client interactions.
