Assistant in all areas of the Preschool (Age range from Infant through 5 years) by providing support to all staff through a variety of duties. Working with the team to create opportunities for students to grow and develop in all areas. Preschool is a ministry of FB Concord with the vision of inspiring students and families to follow Jesus.

· Per TN Licensing Requirements be at least 21 years of age
· Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Development or Education - preferred
· 1-3 Years related experience working with children - preferred
· Adaptable, team player, reliable and patient
· 1stAid/CPR certification preferred – able to obtain upon hire
· Provide support through all classrooms and area of the program – maintaining ratios, providing breaks, supporting students and assisting with preparation of learning materials
· Support classroom schedules, routines and behavior management in a variety of classrooms settings
· Assist with opening and closing procedures for the preschool as schedule requires
· Keep constant communication with the floater team lead to ensure daily program responsibilities are carried out
· Follow the lead of the classroom teachers to ensure smooth classroom procedures and to support student growth and development
· Assist with the maintenance and management of the Preschool Resource Room, Toy Room, laundry space and storage closets
· Understand & comply with all TN Early Childhood Licensing Requirements – including ongoing training
· Understand & comply all Concord Christian Preschool required & best practices as outlined in the Preschool Operations Manual – including trainings, staff meetings and events
· Duties will vary based on the age of the classroom
· Work to ensure that confidentiality is maintained by faculty and staff as it pertains to student discipline, academic struggles or staff issues
· Fulfill other duties as assigned by the administrative team
Typically, a 5-day a week classroom schedule. Work includes but is not limited to walking, standing, walking up and down stairs, squatting, bending, carrying items up to 45lbs, getting up and down off the floor. Time will be spent both indoors and outdoors, in both quiet and chaotic spaces.
