The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering subject-specific instructional activities for students in grades 1-12. This includes managing the classroom, integrating technology, and communicating student progress to parents and staff.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a subject area and maintain a personal relationship with Jesus. Teaching experience and First Aid/CPR certification are preferred.
Teach students (1st-12th) in a subject specific classroom through a kingdom mindset and a biblical worldview. As a ministry of FBC the mission of CCS is to inspire students and families to follow Jesus.

Plan, prepare and deliver traditional classroom and online instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences Establish & maintain appropriate & effective classroom management procedures Develop a rapport with students that motivates & fosters enthusiasm for learning Creatively integrate technology in the classroom to enhance learning Provide appropriate feedback on student work in a prompt and timely manner Maintain up-to-date records in approved program Professionally communicate necessary information regularly to students, team members and parents regarding student progress and disciplinary matters Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures Work with Director of Homeschool to ensure smooth running of the program Work to ensure that confidentiality is maintained by faculty and staff as it pertains to student discipline, academic struggles or staff issues Participate in other CCS Homeschool events as assigned or requested by Director
WORKING CONDITIONS Typically, a 1-day work week in a classroom environment. Working with various socio-economic groups, ages and nationalities.
