2026-2027 Middle School Social Studies Teacher (Grades 6-8)

The teacher is responsible for collaborating with administrators and staff to ensure student learning success by developing and teaching curriculum aligned with pennsylvania common core standards. Essential duties include designing coherent instruction, creating a respectful learning environment, managing student behavior, assessing learning, and communicating regularly with families.

Candidates must possess a valid pa certification in the corresponding content area and demonstrate strong instructional, classroom management, and organizational skills. A deep content area knowledge, ability to utilize data for differentiation, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also required.
