Gap Year Medical Assistant Fellow- Dermatology

The fellow assists in patient care delivery under direct clinical supervision, performing delegated medical tasks and assisting physician and nursing staff, which includes gathering patient history and chief complaints in the emr. Responsibilities also involve facilitating clinic workflows, preparing patients for examination, performing and documenting vital signs, conducting routine clinic testing, and providing patient education materials as directed.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and currently be enrolled in medical school, taking a one-Year gap year, while also possessing current cpr certification. The role requires assisting with patient care, documentation via emr, and adhering to established clinic protocols for efficiency and service.
