Certified Teacher - First Grade

The teacher is responsible for supporting the diocese of tucson's mission by evangelizing, catechizing, and educating youth within a catholic school environment, acting as a minister of the gospel both academically and behaviorally. Essential duties include developing and implementing lessons aligned with academic goals and the catholic religious curriculum, providing evidence-Based instruction, and leading daily classroom prayer.

Candidates must possess a current and valid arizona teaching certificate (Standard or alternative) and a bachelor's degree or higher, along with a strong commitment to the roman catholic church's mission. Required qualifications also include excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency with computer technology, and the ability to pass a criminal history and background check, including obtaining a dps fingerprint clearance card.
